Anime phenomenon POP TEAM EPIC blasted its way back to screens this month with its long awaited second season. Along with it came three-track single ‘Endless Love / Nakayopiece’, featuring the opening theme song of episode 1 and two versions the series’ ending theme. The digital single is out now to download and stream courtesy of JPU Records.

In true POP TEAM EPIC style, the season begun with an over-the-top, tongue-in-cheek opening theme. Titled ‘Endless Love’, the track is performed by Japanese singer Shouta Aoi, who also stars in the season one finale as a live action Shouta Aoi, saving the day with his fresh dance moves and time travelling abilities – and becoming an internet meme in the process. The track’s music video is also out now, featuring extravagant transformation sequences, a plethora of special effects, and nods to high energy, live action Japanese superhero shows.

‘Endless Love’ is joined by two versions of ending theme ‘Nakayopiece’. Each version is performed by the voice actors of the POP TEAM EPIC’s main characters Popuko and Pipimi; the ‘Male Version’ performed by Jun Oosuka and Hiroki Takahashi, and the ‘Female Version’ by Manaka Iwami and Ikumi Hasegawa.
