SCANDAL Release New Single 'Soundly' and Announce Special Event to Celebrate Upcoming EP

Japan’s Guinness World Record-holding rock band SCANDAL returns with the final instalment of their three-month consecutive digital single series. Their new track, 'Soundly', is available to stream and download from midnight, featuring an evocative sound that reflects SCANDAL’s 18-year journey and the road ahead.

Accompanying the release, the teaser for the 'Soundly' music video has been unveiled. Set to an atmospheric guitar riff, the teaser showcases the band performing in a white horizon studio with tracks laid on the floor. Though just 15 seconds long, it has already ignited excitement among fans worldwide. The full music video will premiere on Wednesday, 5 March 2025, at 11 AM GMT.

To commemorate the release of their new EP LOVE, SPARK, JOY!, available digitally from 5 March and on CD internationally from 4 April 2025, SCANDAL will host a special YouTube Live event on Sunday, March 9, at 11 AM GMT. This event marks the highly anticipated return of their popular YouTube Live series, Yoru Sukya (Night SCANDAL), after nearly a year.

Leading up to the release, SCANDAL will share exclusive video teasers for 'Soundly', including daily solo videos from each member until the EP and music video debut. The release of LOVE, SPARK, JOY! will be followed by a 14-date Japan tour, culminating in two special performances at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo.

LOVE, SPARK, JOY! is available for CD pre-order now, with an exclusive concert video on demand featuring English subtitles. As a preview, two live performances from the concert –'Gunjō Pleats' and 'Plum' (both from latest album LUMINOUS) – are now streaming on SCANDAL’s official YouTube channel.
