sources – sunset Tracklist:

1. coin

   This piece was written to capture the dual nature of a human being, likening it to the the head and tail of a coin. When performing this live, sources have both violinist share the same violin, both playing it at the same time to represent a person wavering between the angel and the devil inside of them.

2. sunset

   This is the follow up to the title track of previous album SUNRISE, the melody of which can be interwoven with the image of the sun slowly setting, sources hope you enjoy this track’s jazzy and mature style.

3. Urban night

   A track written while imagining a night flight over a big city full of twinkling lights and tall skyscrapers.

4. coleus

   In the language flowers, coleus represent ‘unfulfilled love’. This feeling has been attempted to captured in the melody of this track.

5. 颪-OROSHI-

   Meaning ‘Northerly Wind’ in English, this track is based around the scene of a strong wind that blows from the snowy mountains in winter. The harshness and the beauty of nature can be found within this piece.

6. Mabataki Yozora (瞬き夜空)

   In English the title means ‘Twinkling Night Sky’ and was written with this scenery in mind, as well as the fleeting nature of our own existence amid the stars which have been twinkling for hundreds of millions of years.

7. JOY! JOY! JOY!

   This track was written with live performances in mind. Sources wanted to create a song that the audience could singalong too, which is very difficult for an instrumental act. They hope this track will have the audience chanting “JOY! JOY! JOY!” when it’s being performed.

8. Kimi to Aruku Ipponmichi (君と歩く一本道)

   This is a love song, for the person you want to share your life with and is called ‘One Road with You’ in English.
