SCANDAL Tease MIRROR Music Video and Reveal “her” Volume 3 Details
Japanese band SCANDAL celebrates their 15th anniversary with tenth studio album MIRROR, out internationally on CD in February 2022. The teaser video for the album’s title track, which was composed by guitarist MAMI and has lyrics by drummer RINA, has been released ahead of the full music video on 2 February.
The contents of magazine “her” volume three has also been revealed. Previously the magazine, which was printed in English with the international limited edition of last album Kiss from the darkness, featured exclusive photos taken by the band members, interviews and solo project details. This latest edition, also printed in English exclusively from JPU Records, is filled with further new photos and interviews with the members, as well as a readers’ present corner. The cover image has also been released today.
Additionally, tickets have begun this week for the Japanese leg of the SCANDAL WORLD TOUR 2022 “MIRROR”, which begins in March. The tour will go on to include five shows across North America, as well as dates in London, Paris and Berlin, plus shows around Asia. The world tour was originally scheduled following the release of Kiss from the darkness but has been cancelled for two years following the outbreak of coronavirus. Tour dates can be found by scrolling to the end of this page.
“The world tour will finally begin in March,” comments vocalist HARUNA. “The first part is a hall tour of Japan. It’ll be the first time in four years since we’ve had a hall tour – the last one was cancelled because of the pandemic! We will be performing songs from our new album MIRROR, as well as a special setlist of SCANDAL songs from our 15-year career. Let’s make this a tour where you can feel a lot of happiness that’s only possible from music and live performance. We’re looking forward to seeing you in the venue!”
SCANDAL’s MIRROR will be available overseas as two physical editions on CD. Both editions will include a Japanese lyric booklet, as well as an additional English lyric translation and romaji lyric transliteration. The limited edition includes magazine “her” volume three printed entirely in English. Both are available now to pre-order directly from JPU Records in London.
