Forget what you think you know about Japanese idol groups – ASP ain’t it. Born from Tokyo’s WACK and led by disruptor-in-chief Junnosuke Watanabe, ASP launched in May 2021 as the first act on WACK’s own label since BiSH broke the idol mould.
From handing out free CDs at 46 TOWER RECORDS to launching gigs with ticket lotteries, ASP tore up the rulebook from day one. Their sound smashes genre lines, powered by raw energy and collaborators like MAXIM (The Prodigy) and Sam Matlock (WARGASM).
After conquering all 47 prefectures, they stormed the iconic Nippon Budokan on October 8, 2024—lasers, visuals, chaos: full takeover. Overseas? Five UK shows and counting, with “WACK in the U.K. Vol.6” set for June 2025.
Next up: a 19-show Japan tour kicking off 3 May and a new single, 'Get New MIRAI'. With a new member onboard, ASP runs towards their new future.
