We are excited to have RINA of Japan's legendary pop-rock band SCANDAL takeover the JPU RECORDS PLAYLIST! The drummer and lyricist has selected a number of her favourite tracks from Japan for her international label's monthly updated playlist on Apple Music, Spotify and Deezer, and takes over from the mighty Lie and a Chameleon's ace playlist.

To experience RINA's selections in full we recommend using Apple Music to stream the playlist as this service contains the majority of RINA's choices for streaming outside of Japan. Spotify was close but had a couple of tracks unavailable.

We had a great time listening to RINA's choices while compiling the list and discovered some fantastic gems, such as Every Little Thing's 'Fundamental Love' and iri's 'Favorite Joshi'. It was also great to see PASSEPIED on the list, a band who we helped tour the UK a few years ago, as well as classic Japanese electro-pop tune 'TOKYO GIRL' from Perfume, and pop megahits from the likes of Ayumi Hamasaki, Namie Amuro and Tokyo Jihen.

The playlist will change in four weeks' time to selections from another member of a JPU Records band, so make sure you subscribe to automatically receive the playlist.
