Formed as teenagers during Japan’s strict COVID lockdown, WENDY secretly came together to create rock ’n’ roll for a new generation. Their raw demos quickly landed them a publishing deal with Sony Music Publishing and caught the ear of Grammy Award-winning producer Marc Whitmore (Jon Batiste “We Are”, The Black Keys "Let's Rock").
Whitmore was so impressed he produced their debut album himself, recorded live in just nine days, with no edits, capturing the band’s unfiltered energy.
Having already impressed the likes of Billboard US, NHK World-Japan's J-MELO and Japan's rock festivals, WENDY now set their sights on the international rock scene.
