MEMORIAL FOR THE WARRIOR SOULS immortalizes LOVEBITES’ electrifying performance on September 24th at Hitomi Memorial Hall in Tokyo. This captivating show was part of their domestic tour in support of their critically acclaimed 4th album, JUDGEMENT DAY, which made an impressive debut at number 5 on the Oricon Weekly chart. Notably, it also marked the band’s first Tokyo performance with their new bassist, Fami, adding a new dynamic to an already high-energy event.
This 2-CD live album beautifully captures the intensity of the performance, while the accompanying video release goes beyond the music to showcase the stunning stage design, inspired by a judge's bench, perfectly complementing the theme of the album. The video release also features audio commentary from the band, now with English subtitles for the first time, and the documentary THE JUDGEMENTARY. This feature-length film includes behind-the-scenes footage from the band’s seven-city Japanese tour (Fukuoka, Sendai, Sapporo, Osaka, Nagoya, Tokyo, and Yokohama), giving fans a glimpse of life on the road, including a special backstage moment when Nuno Bettencourt of EXTREME drops by for a chat.
The audio has been expertly mixed and mastered by Mikko Karmila and Mika Jussila at the world-renowned Finnvox Studios in Finland. The CD release also includes English liner notes, and the video release from JPU Records contains English subtitles for all spoken content, ensuring that fans worldwide can fully immerse themselves in this exceptional performance.
