Japanese Rock Band WENDY to Play First UK Live Show and Release Debut Vinyl

Vinyl Out 13 October, First London Show 17 November, New Single ‘Pull Me In’ Out Today
Tokyo’s rising rock band WENDY have been featured by Billboard US, appeared on NHK World-Japan’s global music program J-MELO, and performed at SUMMER SONIC and METROCK, two of Japan’s biggest rock festivals. Their dream is to one day play at London’s Wembley Stadium like their heroes The Rolling Stones and AC/DC.
Now they’re one step closer with the UK arrival of their debut album Don’t waste my YOUTH, out 13 October as a special extended vinyl edition via London’s JPU Records, and their first ever London show confirmed for 17 November 2025 [tickets on sale here]. They also release the video to their never-before released track 'Pull Me In', a bonus track for the vinyl and a song that's available to download and stream from today for the first time.
WENDY – Pull Me In Music Video:

Formed during Japan’s strict COVID-19 lockdowns while still in their teens, WENDY quickly earned a reputation for revitalising rock ’n’ roll for a new generation. Their raw demos landed them a publishing deal with Sony Music Publishing and caught the attention of Grammy Award-winning producer Marc Whitmore (Jon Batiste “We Are”, The Black Keys “Let’s Rock”). Whitmore was so impressed he produced their debut album himself, recorded live in just nine days with no edits, capturing the band’s unfiltered energy. The sessions were even featured in Sound & Recording Magazine.
Originally released in Japan, the debut album now arrives in the UK for the first time as an extended vinyl edition, featuring two previously unreleased tracks: “Pull Me In” and the powerful “Pledge of Love”. The former being released today digitally ahead of the album’s overseas digital release, also on 13 October.
WENDY will also mark the release with their first show in London, taken place at The Water Rats on 17 November 2025. They’ll be joined by grunge rock trio I SEE ORANGE and DJs from JPU Records spinning Japanese rock and metal tracks all night. Tickets are on sale now, and Don’t waste my YOUTH is available from today to preorder.
