Japanese heavy metal band LOVEBITES have been added to line-up. LOVEBITES, who recently won Best New Band in the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards and released sophomore album Clockwork Immortality at the start of the year, will be performing on the Dogtooth Stage on Saturday 15 June 2019, the same day as headliners Slipknot, Halestorm and Trivium.

Bass player Miho comments, "It's great privilege to be back at our second home, the UK, and to appear in one of its biggest rock fests, Download Festival! I can't wait to play in Donington Park where so many legendary bands from the Monsters of Rock era to now have performed!"

HEAVY METAL NEVER DIES: Live in Tokyo 2021 was recorded at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL within the limits of Japan’s coronavirus restrictions, where venue capacity was limited and fans were not allowed to cheer, LOVEBITES set out to show that even with such limits, HEAVY METAL NEVER DIES!
