SCANDAL ‘MIRROR’ Becomes Band’s Tenth Consecutive Top 5 Album! Title Track Music Video Released
SCANDAL’s tenth studio album MIRROR, released in Japan and digitally worldwide on 26 January, has ranked at number five in the Oricon Weekly Album Chart. The achievement furthers the band’s impressive run of album success by now having ten top five albums.
Today, the music video to the album title track MIRROR has been released. The song, composed by guitarist MAMI and with lyrics by drummer RINA, is an epic pop-rock anthem that opens the album. The video is directed by マザーファッ子, who also directed the recently released music video for ‘Ai ni Naranakatta no Sa’ (‘It was Never Love for Me’). The music video artistically captures each member’s performance of the song alongside the clever use of mirrors.
The international physical edition of MIRROR will be released later this month from JPU Records. The release includes lyric translations and romaji transliterations, while the limited edition includes SCANDAL magazine “her” volume three printed in English, and the album’s video documentary with English subtitles.
SCANDAL also announced that four further dates have been added to their 2022 world tour. Tickets are on sale now, dates are at the bottom of this page.
