Sumire Uesaka Life Is Hard DAME DINERO Single Out in Full + New Music Video Released
Japanese artist and voice actress Sumire Uesaka’s hyperactive six-track single Life is Hard DAME DINERO (Seikatsu Konkyu Dame Dinero) is released in full today! The official music video, which sees Sumire Uesaka transform into a giant magical girl that can make kaiju explode with a flick of her wand, has been updated to include official English and Spanish subtitles. It's also the second opening theme to anime series The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!. The track is an intense, hyperactive burst of energy with the message “to do your best being positive in this difficult world” and was produced by Kenichi Maeyamada, one of the leading creative forces in the Japanese entertainment world who's produced for the likes of Dempagumi.inc, Momoiro Clover Z and AKB48.
The second track of the single is ‘Monodomo No Utage’, a digital rock track written by Sumire Uesaka with theme of “dancing until you fall asleep”. Third track 'DROPS' had a lyric video also released this week. The song sees Sumire Uesaka tackle a much calmer, emotionally charged track than usual and is about the feelings of faint love. The track, which mixes energetic J-pop, retro video games music and happy hardcore (?!) is taken from latest album NEO PROPAGANDA. The CD also includes Bon ♡ Kyu ♡ Bon wa Kare no Mono ♡ from the anime Why the Hell Are you Here, Teacher?! – all lyrics have also been translated into English, and romaji transliterations are also included.
