BAND-MAID, the impossibly hard rocking maid band from Japan, have announced that they've joined forces with legendary producer Tony Visconti for their upcoming album CONQUEROR, out on CD with lyric translations from JPU Records in Europe and North America from 17 January 2020.

Tony Visconti, who has worked with the likes of David Bowie, T Rex and Thin Lizzy, produced album track "The Dragon Cries", the music video to which is below.

On working with BAND-MAID, Tony comments, "I love the originality of BAND-MAID. It was like a dream come true to meet them. During recording SAIKI and MIKU sang from eight-hours straight. I don't know many artists with that kind of stamina, I was taken back by their professionalism. They definitely met my expectations."

BAND-MAID's guitarist and vocalist Miku adds, "Tony really likes BAND-MAID and is such a friendly and lovely person. Im so grateful to have recorded in the same New York studio as David Bowie, and really appreciate that Tony could produce our hopes and wishes. When I meet Tony again I want to show him how much we've grown."

The fantastic new album from BAND-MAID, the impossibly hard rocking maid band. The CD entered the Official UK Rock Charts upon release and includes a track producer by legend Tony Visconti.

CONQUEROR includes a mighty 15 tracks that show all sides of the band, from their heavier aggressive side (Rinne), to softer, sing-along anthems like (endless story). They are one of the few Japanese bands to bridge the gap between cultures. On one hand, they look like they've been ripped out of an Akihabara maid cafe. They even implement the customs, referring to their audience as 'masters' and 'princesses', and calling their shows 'servings'. Don't let their aesthetics fool you, these five maids are highly skilled musicians and songwriters. Their hard hitting sound and catchy hooks have been praised by fans and media around the world.
